Do i need a passport?
If traveling abroad, yes. ALL PERSONS traveling by air outside of the United States are required to present a passport book or other valid travel document to enter or re-enter the United States. U.S. citizens may present a valid U.S. passport when traveling via air, land or sea. How many birds will I shoot?
Depends how good you are! Our day to day average bird count will vary but it will be in between 10-45 Birds, some days will be lower, some days it will be higher - It simply depends on what specie of Bird you are wanting to target. We do not advertise High volume bird hunts. However we provide quality and sustainable Bird condition for our collectors and for the guys who just want to have a good time.
How many hunters are needed to book a guided hunt?
Our hunts are charged out per person, with a minimum group size of 3 Hunters.
Solo Hunters are welcome but will need to be charged the equivalent of 3 hunters.
Groups of 2 hunters are also welcome, but together must cover the price of the third hunter.
Will you add on clients to our group if necessary?
This is a popular question. The simple answer is, Yes.
If our other guides are booked and there is space to accommodate other hunters to your group, where we feel is necessary other hunters will be join to create a larger group. If this is something your group doesn't want to do, then we can arrange an alternative option.
Do we need to lay a deposit?
Yes. No deposit No bookings.
All deposits taken for any of our hunting trips are all non refundable and if a trip is cancelled by CSO for any unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to keep the deposit and ‘roll the dates’ to the next year. This would only be for examples such as another ‘pandemic’ where clients cannot travel due to border restrictions where we are not able to operate or clients cannot travel to New Zealand. Clients will not lose out on their deposit in a situation like this and it will only carry forward to the next available date for the team.
Do we need firearm license's?
All hunters must have the appropriate firearms and hunting licenses and permits in place before, for any of out hunting trips that we offer before taking part in any hunting and without these again all our guides, outfitters and partners reserve the right to refuse ANY of our clients if they do not have any proof of these required documents. We are here to ensure that you have these documents arranged in advance. It is you as the hunters responsibility to ensure they are with them during the trip.
Do we need to provide personal insurance?
All clients who book with us are expected to have their own personal insurance in place for taking part in all our hunting trips that we offer. It is your responsibility to arrange this and ensure it covers the type of hunting, is valid during the trip dates and indeed the country you are travelling too. All of our guides, have the reserve and the right to refuse ANY of our clients if they do not have insurance prior to hunting. Please ask us to help as we are here to assist at every step of the way to ensure this doesn’t affect your trip.
What happens if our group member can't make it?
For cancellations we expect to be told no later than 30 days that the team or team member is unable to make the trip on the arranged dates and we can postpone or re arrange for suitable dates in the future (there may be further costs in rearranging future trips, such as fuel and accommodation increases). If a team or team member cancels less than 30 days before the team's arrival date they will be expected to pay in full for either the team or individual cancelling.
